Gym Rules
- Enjoy yourself, smile! Life is too beautiful for negativity.
- Be on time so we can start together and stick to the schedule. If you can, arrive a bit early. Use this extra time to work on mobility, socialize, and make and maintain friendships.
- Being attentive is essential. Our coaches take care of a lot, but it's crucial that you're mentally present. Listen when the coach explains something; it's valuable for your training.
- Keep your ego in check, and don't overestimate yourself. There's always someone better. You're here to train for your progress, not to prove anything to others. Yet remember, "Go heavy or go home," The only way to get stronger and fitter is through a steady increase in weight and intensity. However, don't expect overnight success; getting fit takes time, so be patient.
- Behave respectfully towards yourself and your body, as well as towards the staff and members of FreedomFit. Treat the provided equipment with respect and proper care. Use the equipment to train hard, but be gentle with it. Never drop barbells unless there's at least a 25lbs plate on each side.
- Take responsibility for cleaning up your equipment and weights. If possible, help others. Leave everything clean and organized for the next class.
- Be honest, especially with yourself. Perform each repetition of the workout as well as you can. There are no shortcuts and no room for excuses. It's your journey to better fitness, so own it!
- Our training is challenging, so listen to your body. If you're not feeling well or experiencing pain, inform the coach and consider a lighter workout. This demonstrates responsibility and strength. But remember: There are no excuses! Everyone has days when they don't feel like it or have movements they dislike. Overcoming these challenges leads to progress.
- There is no "I can't." if anything, say, "I can't YET." Self-pity won't help, but self-confidence will. Trust in the process to achieve your goals.
