FreedomFit Culture

  1. Have fun and keep a smile on your face. Life is too beautiful for negativity. Let’s spread good vibes together.

  2. Be punctual so we can start on time. Try to arrive a bit earlier if possible. Use the time before training to work on mobility issues or to socialize, build, and nurture friendships.

  3. Stay engaged. Our coaches handle as much as possible, but it’s important to stay mentally present and switched on.
Listen to the coach. Be quiet and attentive when they’re explaining something. What the coach says is valuable and adds to your training.

  4. Don’t overestimate yourself, and leave your ego at the door. There will always be someone better than you. You’re training for yourself and your progress, not to prove anything to others.
That said: Go heavy or go home. The only way to get stronger and fitter is to steadily increase weights and intensity.
Don’t expect overnight results. Mark Twain once said, “You can’t push the river.” There are no shortcuts to fitness. Be patient.

  5. Be respectful. Treat yourself, your body, the staff, and other members with respect.
Handle the equipment with care. Train hard, but be gentle with the materials.
Never drop barbells unless there’s at least a 10kg plate on each side.

  6. Clean up after yourself. Everyone is responsible for tidying up their equipment and weights. But don’t be selfish—help others if needed and possible. Leave the equipment clean and organized so the next class has everything ready and in working order.

  7. Be honest—especially with yourself. Perform every workout rep as fully and cleanly as possible. There are no shortcuts, and there’s no “Oops, I miscounted.”
This is YOUR training, YOUR progress, YOUR path to better fitness. OWN IT.

  8. Listen to your body. Our training is tough and intense, so it’s crucial to pay attention to how you feel. If you’re unwell or in pain, let the coach know and take it easy if necessary. This shows responsibility and strength.
However, the rule stands: No excuses. Everyone has days where they don’t feel like training or movements they dislike. That doesn’t matter. Progress comes from doing the things you don’t like.

  9. Never say, “I can’t do this.” At most, you can say, “I can’t do this YET.” Self-pity helps no one, but self-confidence does. Believe that the process will lead you to your goals.

  10. Sweating is good—it’s a sign of an intense workout. However, cleaning up your sweat is your responsibility.
