Who is this for?
Our classes are for everyone, we love to see people of every fitness level and age working out together. Our members range from early 20ies to mid 70ies. Every movement is scalable, and we can meet you where you’re at. These workouts aren’t easy, but the confidence, sense of achievement and camaraderie make it worth it. You will feel like you’ve found a new family once you’ve settled in. There’s something about giving your all in a workout with people by your side doing the same and encouraging each other. This training style has changed our lives and we are thrilled to be able to share this with you.
What equipment will we be using?
In functional fitness we use a lot of bodyweight movements supplemented by free weights like, barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells, jump ropes, medicine balls etc. We also have a rig for doing pull ups, muscle ups, toes to bar, and rings for doing ring muscle ups, etc. We also use rowers and boxes for box jumps.
Each movement is a full body movement. We do very few isolation exercises.
How many times per week should I come?
That’s the great thing about functional training. You don’t need to spend hours at the gym to see results. We saw big results in our lives over the course of a couple years just doing 2 hours per week. Studies show that the sweet spot is likely around 3 a week to achieve results quickly.
Remember, eat right, sleep enough, and train hard. There is less benefit to training if you don't control your appetite or lack sleep. It is better to come 2x a week and get enough rest than to come 4x and struggle to recover.
Where are we located?
Check out the map in the footer. We are at the CSCS school gym! It’s a HUGE gym right past the local police station. 1003 Tamarac Pkwy, Woodland Park, CO 80863.
How do I sign up?

How do I book a class?
You are required to book classes as space is limited. After you have become a member on our website, you can go to the schedule and click “book”. You may sign up for your classes up to one week in advance. You need to be logged into your account to book a class.
Is there a waiting list for classes?
Yes, there is a waiting list for every class. Classes will be limited to 12 people at this point. We encourage you to get on the waitlist if the class you want to go to is full. We also ask that if you have signed up for a class and need to cancel, do so as soon as possible to make room for those on the waiting list. You will receive an email if you were on the waitlist and someone canceled making room for you!
What if I am signed up but something came in between?
You can cancel a class yourself in the members portal up to one day before the class. After that you have to give us a call or text to cancel. ( 719-822-5249 ) However if there is no one on the waitlist it will count against your weekly allotment.
How many people will be in each class?
Up to 12 people per coach. That way the coaches can keep a good eye on everyone.
Where can I see the WOD?
We have SugarWOD that is an app on your phone that allows you to see the workouts of the day and log in your results so you can see your progress over time.
What programming do you use?
We are implementing the CrossFit Mayhem Affiliate programming. Written by a team of expert coaches it is the same programming that is happening on location in Cookeville, TN. CrossFit Mayhem is the home of Rich Froning, the most successful CrossFit athlete in history. He has won 4 individual gold medals and 6 Gold medals in team competition each with a different team, which speaks of the quality of this programming.
What do I need to bring?
A water bottle and good gym shoes, and a towel.
What kind of shoes are best?
Cross training shoes! If you don't have any cross trainers, hard soled shoes are preferable. In general, running shoes or soft cushioned shoes are not recommended because you need a stable platform for lifting weights, which we will be doing a lot. Skater shoes are good for weight lifting but not so good for running. You can bring a 2nd pair of running shoes if you'd like for the times that we run during the workout.
Is there a dress code?
Please no booty shorts and keep your shirts on. ;)
Do you have showers?
No, unfortunately, there are no showers in this facility.
Will we have access to bathrooms?
Yes absolutely.
How early should I arrive before class?
Please come at least 5 minutes early. You are welcome to come up to 15 minutes before class to stretch, use foam rollers, socialize, and use the restrooms.
Where do I park?
What happens on snow days?
We will let you know by phone should a class be canceled. In general though we lived in Switzerland so unless there is a huge snow storm that might snow us in at the gym will be at the gym.
Thank you, you will hear from us soon.
